frans (10 out of 10 ) What an exhilarating film. I felt the raw passion, pure intensity and sold out conviction of Sean Penn the actor translate to Sean Penn the director. What a courageous film. How the unstructured and uninhibited camera language emphasize the free spirit and brave character of our protagonist. What an expansive film. With the up, close and personal focus of microscopic shots you experience undefiled nature and scarce private emotion and with the macroscopic focus of breathtaking panoramic landscapes you enjoy a bird's eye view. Finally, on a personal note, what an invigorating film. I was infused with energy to explore my own unvisited places, unfound spaces and unrealized dreams. I was ready to go into my own wild...
Elleisa (10 out of 10 ) Great, great movie. I would recommend this to almost anyone. There are a few scenes of nudity, so not the kids. But overall, great film.
Arpit (10 out of 10 ) Excellent cinema. On the technical aspects:the direction is enormously bewildering. Sean Penn has very nicely transcribed the book into a marvelous cinema. The camera work is to be applauded. Quite a teacher of cinema work. On the more cinematic and viewing aspect:I can not describe it. You should watch it, & then shut up.
Susan Pomerantz (10 out of 10 ) Is there anyway to get a transcipt of the poems and quotes listed in the credits, including Lord Byron's poem? Thanks.
saga (8 out of 10 ) " Into the wild" is the movie, which motivated me to travel without money, I travelled from centre city "delhi" in india to over the north east of india. Travelled for few days without money and any backup just exploring myself with my freedom. That's the most beautiful moments of my life and I am an artist now I am writing a script and make a feature film by inspiring this movie.
